Hello dear fellow sufferer. This is not at all uncommon, I could say it always does happen ~ following any severely restricted eating regime. Being ill for however long, followed by any sort of recovery, and then going on a downward trend really messes with your poor body, especially your tum. It's rather like the ''binge starve, or binge purg''. Your physical form and even more so in your mental form can't cope with the extreme changes and yes, you will feel very uncomfortable around the tummy. HARD, VERY HARD as it is the only way forward is to dust yourself off and start again. The key is not to stray from the path when you do stumble, it's that ''stumble'' that's the important thing, for you have the choice to either give up and tell yourself you've messed up so why not completely sabatarge (can't spell!!) your good work, or get back on the path while you still can. I KNOW this all sounds oh so easy for those who've never had any ED's. I've had 33 years of every kind of ED, fallen from the highest of high paths, only to land at the bottom of hell, but keep in your mind how much better you feel when fueling your body with good stuff, but also trying a few snacks too. HUGS. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
