Please check #45 above for any medical issues you might have missed too, by the way. It's easy to miss something.
I have noticed multiple people reporting a huge benefit from just meditation. They almost all report that you have to be a little patient and do it consistently for a couple of weeks. There's a thread about this in "depression success stories". I haven't seen a single person say that they seriously tried meditation and it didn't help at all.
