Dear Hallie, I took my daughters and they did not have an internal exam for their bc pills. They did have to go back 3 months later for blood pressure checks. They also saw a female gynecologist because it made them more comfortable. Eventually though an internal exam will be necessary. It is important for you to discuss your concerns with your doc so he/she can reassure you and help you feel safe! :hug
