Distance yourself from them, and by no means allow yourself to be giving handouts.
Sounds cruel for me to say, but letting them or her go for a "free ride" all the time, just continues to enable them not to even try, instead just suck off of govt.aid,friends, and family.
No one should have to feel obligated to this woman.
