I think that is a wise idea to call before the sleep deprivation kicks in. I made the mistake of no reaching out a couple of weeks ago and by the time I hit day 6 of minimal sleep, I was a wreck. I was not myself and barely here. The good thing is, I did get the help I rally needed and bounced back fairly fast from it. I think that calling someone is the best thing you can do for yourself.
