I was just given Haldol as a prn, so I'm reading thru these about the med. This is just day 2 I've tried it.

If your on meds you have your normal everyday treatment plan, But if you start head first into a hellish episode , you can start the prn right then , in hopes to stomp out the problem before it becomes a raging hell.

Zyprexa is a good one , benzios can work, Actually ole school Haldol is one that is a very quick acting medication.

"My" understanding is that most Pdocs are open to the idea of having this in place, But it's something you should ask for if they do not bring it up.
