well I know I was having chicken today, i did alot of self talk and told myself everything postive. actually looked forward to eating this beer can chicken even though i was still abit anxious because it smelled awsome. we sat down and i was hesitant because i saw a bit of pink on the leg of my chicken... i asked my boyfriend and he told me not to worry that it was fine, he eats the chicken i eat the little wing, don't recall if i picked at the leg or not. than his mother says that the chicked is uncooked and that we shouldn't be eating it, well the legs anyways.... but my bf already devoured it then i start to get anxious because what are the chances of this happening after i got enough guts to eat the thing and now it might be uncooked? did i eat the leg that was pink? we left the chicken alone but i started ti feel anxious and though great now i'm going to be sick even though i know that that if i did get sick from the chicken that i wouldn't be sick for 12 hours. but i've worried about it and stressed over it.
if i do get sick i have a feeling this will actually and literally start the food phobia. even though though the chances of it happening again are slim i still worry. we cooked the 2 small chickens on the bbq, the meat therometer said it was ok and cooked but the legs werent, i don't know if there wasn't an even amount of heat going to certain parts of the chicken or what. this is the first time making beer can chicken that this happened, the other times they only used one.
so i don't know, will i eat chicken again especially? no idea.
