nothemama8 - MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder?); is this what you mean. Medications would be given in cases of MPD only if there were symptoms to be treated. I do not believe that there is a medication that "cures" MPD. Many psychiatrists and psychologists disagree as to what MPD really is. When you don't know how to define a disorder, and that disorder is very rare, it is very difficult to treat much more than just overt symptoms of the disorder.
