My T's room is a small L-shaped room in an office building. From my sitting perspective:
One wall has well-stocked bookshelves on it, a decorative rug 2 the right. Above the bookshelves are some sort of paintings and to the left another decorative rug.
There is a pole lamp in front of the book shelf.
T sits in a chair in front of this; little side table to his left
THIS IS THE SPACE BETWEEN US/WHERE WE BULD THE BRIDGE>>>>COUCH ADJACENT
MY chair & little table w/tissues & clock facing T
To my left, in the L is his desk/phone etc. (his little work area) Over the desk is a big Budda wall hanging. You don't notice this hanging until you sit on the couch.
W I N D O W S behind me (that I wish I could see)
I love this room. It invites communication. I am very sensitive to my environment. My physical surroundings do matter to me and I think if it were messy or somethng I would not be able to relax in it. I have not told T that but I have told him I feel safe in the chair.
(Don't think my home is not messy with all those guys I live with, LOL).
