I'm sitting here with my mouth gaping open wanting to say something but not sure what. First...how do you have 2 bottles of Xanax? Or at least you are down to 1 now. That is dangerous, especially now. I know exactly how this works you want sleep, 20 pills didn't help, I lived and nothing bad happened, so I can safely take more next time. That is not how it works! It is faulty logic! Many of us here know that and have been through that.
Your brain is not functioning correctly right now. You are not making sound judgments. It happens. At this point and time, you might think you are OK, but you really aren't. Just reading what you have posted here makes me feel desperate for you. You were actually at the hospital and didn't tell them you took an OD on Xanax? You obviously care enough about yourself to come here and ask us about it and if you'd be OK. Take care of yourself and do the right thing. If you don't go to the emergency room, at the very minimum, go to the doctor who prescribed the medication and discuss what happened. If you are having sleep issues that Xanax isn't helping with, they can work with you on something else. If you pop more pills irresponsibly, they probably won't want to prescribe much of anything to you. Act responsibly and you will be treated responsibly. If you aren't able to think clearly, trust the people you turn to, and heed their advice.
You came here looking for help, and these people responded in a way that was in your best interest. Take the advice...that's what we are here for. I just feel so bad for you. We (I) have been in your shoes more than once. The road you are on is not good. Take the advice and get some help now before you travel further along. The caution signs are there. Yikes!
