I'm pretty good about casual chit-chat. I tend to babble and smile quite a bit - it really depends on where I am as to what topic I'll chat about. At work I will talk about my students and what we've been doing, along with listening to what's going on in the other classes. In more properly social situations it tends to go towards what people are doing on holidays (we live in a pretty isolated community), about where people are from, about places we've travelled.... honestly, there's also a lot of chit chat about weather
I'm pretty good at babbling away but also drawing responses out of other people. Part of it is very much a learned skill, but I basically learned it through my hypomanias as it comes much more naturally then!
