The pressure to have a huge bday social event or something these days is huge. It's totally okay if you didn't find it to be amazing, a lot of people can relate! They definitely feel that way in my family where we have a bday nearly every month! Gets tiring fast. It's also hard sometimes to know how people want us to react or how to convey what we really mean, but that doesn't mean people don't love, care, or think about us.
