Stop, I actually like kids mostly, and people like that annoy the hell out of me. I was walking my dog when we lived in town and we were going through the busy, crowded, fun, downtown shopping area. My dog was extremely well behaved and we had been through multiple obedience classes, but she was not particularly friendly and could be very aggressive off-lead (especially to men who smelled like a combo of beer and cigarettes). Anyway, we passed a couple with an absolute slew of kids and the kids were all over the place and the couple was yelling at them and the kids were not listening. One of the little girls ran away from the parents and just pounced on my dog from behind. Really startled the dog, but I told her to sit and stay and she did. The guy comes up and snatches up his kid and gives me a dirty look. I am not afraid of conflict (as some of you may have noticed), so I just stared back at him, and said, "why are you giving ME a dirty look? How is this my fault or my dog's fault? My baby obeyed and I didn't even have to yell at her." He just turned around and stalked off.
