This is an interesting interview by the chicago trib of Martin Harrow who is one of the people who's been publishing about people who choose to go off their meds and are successful despite that. I've never heard the individual stories just the numbers/stats etc so this was nice because I much prefer the stories of success people with masters and law degrees etc going on after their break and how they deal with any remaining hallucinations....worth a read
