I am not sure if I have ADHD or not but I was given Adderall and it too made me very irritable. I decided to not take any stimulant meds at all. It solved that problem. There are smoother stimulant medications available that are longer acting and non stimulant meds too. Talk with you doc as you shouldn't have to be dealing with this. Since you are aware of it, it might be safer to try a non stimulant med.

But to answer your question, yes there are other meds that your doc can try.
