Have you read any of the research Jaako Seikkula has been doing in Finland around treating psychosis with the Open Dialogue method? Although they occasionally use antipsychotics, it's not their first-line treatment, and they're not used long-term. They've gotten some pretty impressive results, and I know of several programs in the US that are integrating Open Dialogue into their treatment programs. (I was part of one of those programs.)
