You are in a very bad spot and you are right not to trust your husband. Do you have any other family that can put you up while you look for your own place? Maybe you can get food stamps for the two of you. That would help too. There is HUD housing that you could qualify for so maybe you can apply for that too. I wish you well and please keep us posted.
