Thanks, Stop. I am not entirely sure why I was so worried about it this morning. He was so close to death when we found him, it was not as if I had other options besides doing what I did. The vet said it was a matter of half an hour or so until he was too far gone to save, so I couldn't have gotten him somewhere for someone else to save him. I adore this kitten (kind of crazy amounts) and the thought I damaged him somehow was upsetting. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and looks incredibly sleek and lovely, and clearly has no grudge against me because he spends most nights sleeping pressed up against my chest with his head tucked under my neck or against my face. Guess I was lacking in things to beat myself up about this morning.
