Hi happywoman, for the food journal I think I'm going to buy one online. It has sections to write what you've eaten throughout the day, and has a part for writing in what exercise you've done. I like doing things in paper and pencil rather than on the computer. Although I'm sure there are apps that allow you to do the same thing. The one I'm going to buy is on the Amazon website and its called: DIETMINDER Personal Food & Fitness Journal (A Food and Exercise Diary)
For regular journaling about everyday stuff I just use a journal I bought at the store, you can use any notebook really.
