I can tell that you are really frustrated and angry. Trust me I understand and empathize! I am in the same boat as you as far as therapy goes. I cannot afford it where I live. I am in a poor state, so with some twisted logic, medicare programs pay less for us to get care. In other words we have to shell out big co-pays which makes it impossible for me to get help right now. Ain't that a beatch!
Having a mental illness is maddening. However, I have to tell you that having social anxiety is real and does not mean that you are a fat *** and lazy. I have it now to some degree because of the damage that psychotropic meds have done to me. You have to be very pro-active in getting your care and careful to not let them poly drug you and cause worse problems.
I can just offer my experience and understanding to you. Hope things get better.
