I can't believe I already have another update to this saga, but I do. The last I heard from the interviewer, he was asking me to give him some times I could come in (for the third time). I did.

I just learned from my friend that he has scheduled a meeting with me this week (and invited my friend). The joke is that it isn't on a day I said I was available, I am absolutely not available, and he hasn't even told me yet!

I don't think I even want to do the contract work at this point.
