i would use i been off work for a family matter that need to be resolved ......everything is ok and settled now and i am looking to go back to a permit job

if they press u say a family member was sick and u need to take some time to take care of them ....they are better now and the doctors have everything under control

u are telling the truth just leaving out the family member is u

my mother taught me that .......u are not lying but u are not giving out details .......if they press u about it just say sir/ma'am i do not feel comfortable talking about it ..it is not my place to put other ppl info out in the world

that makes u look good like u keep mouth shut about things it can help u get hired
