well the first thing i would do is get tested for psychic skills

no it is not normal ........it could be psychic hear the dead /past life stuff

other wise u need to talk to a doctor and get some meds to keep them under control

my mother was a southern baptist....so i learned a saying
angels talk in ideas and thoughts demons talk in whispers and voices

but i know a few ppl with skills so it is possible that is what is going on ...........quickest and cheapest way i know how to check is a deck of cards and someone u have strong connection too

they shuffle the deck u split it restack it then they drawl a card look at it hold the image in the head and 5-7 secs later u tell them what it is (the sheer number of possible choices in numbers and suits ) anything about a 20% right u have some skills

oh they say if u are right or wrong and then lay the card face down ...........2 piles ones right ones wrong 52 cards in the deck

otherwise see the doctor and get pills to shut them down before something bad starts coming out of it
