And when I say lingering effects it is not because the drug is still in your brain it is because it probably whacked your dopamine receptors on neurons in a certain part of your brain. The fact that your buddy who took it with you isn't having these effects doesn't mean anything. We all react differently to any drug. If you read the psyche meds section of this forum long enough you would find out there is wide variation in how people respond to drugs. First of all in the liver and how it is metabolized and then in how it effects your receptors and brain chemistry.
