I'm not familiar with Registry Mechanic. I used to get PCWorld mag, I just checked their website and there's not much info on reg mechanic...

I have found with "automated" registry cleaners that you still have to be careful with them, none of them work 100% and they'll flag anything they don't recognize, and if you let them clean up you could have a problem.

If everything is working now I'd say don't get anything new for now. If something pops up in the near future you won't know if it is something that still isn't fixed or if it is something new that the editor did.

So just cross your fingers and hope everything stays clean, and remember it's like thunder and lightning, the way you love me is frightening. You better knock, knock on wood, baby.
