Researchers prefer the DSM? Not for long. I think in Europe we may have a hold out in the Netherlands... but most places are distancing themselves from the American Psychiatric Association.
In the DSM-V they make an attempt to pathologise PMS... which that haven't considered to be a 'sickness' since the Dark Ages. Just like the APA to be living in the past... pharmaceutical companies like GSK and Lilly are more like alchemists than anything.
