I guess I wasn't super clear, but that was sort of my intended point! If she seems to think that her son should take care of her 24/7 (through whatever excuse she comes up with) then the talk about being a permanent place with care is needed. If she really doesn't need that care, then she'll have to admit it and give up the demand of 24/7 care.
