I have had symptoms lately dealing with thyroid problems that I have had under control for several years now! I decided Id call my Dr and tell them I want it tested because I take a higher dose of lithium these days. I get a call back today that is was a 7 and that my Dr had called in a higher dose of that medicine. It explains ALOT of crap going on with me lately. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism seven years ago so I wasn't really on guard about symptoms. It explains:

weight gain, really dry skin, hair loss, drier hair than normal, intolerance to cold, muscle cramps, decreased appetite, trouble concentrating, memory loss, slow thinking, fatigue, irregularity with women's health, GI issues and irritability!

Wow! I can't help but wonder.....could my jerky thyroid of been a root cause of my recent bout with agitation/hypomania..

Thoughts?
