She texted back last night. She said she realized after I left that what she was saying to me wasn't clear to me from my response and that it wasn't about the appointment and she was glad I checked.
Last night was probably the first time I actually shared with her true feelings... Not only did she listen and validate those feelings...she had a skill that I could use. (Ironically she said I was sort of doing it but in the wrong way).... Turtling...going into your shell to protect yourself... My problem is of course is that you don't stay in there forever..or at least not from November 20th to January 4
