This morning I am grateful for:

ice packs,
and confirmation of two (TWO!!) telly screenings of the Doctor Who Christmas special on Boxing Day.

Between the ramped up PTSD symptoms at this time of year, no T until the 8th of January (though will have some email contact, thankfully, and will still see my care manager), plus the agony of a slipped disc in my neck and a potentially long wait in the public health system for treatment, i've been feeling utterly miserable at times.

And on Boxing Day, my son heads off on holiday with his dad for five days (and that's the short holiday they're having, there's worse to come mid-Jan ) which i'm really not looking forward to.

However, I'm a massive Doctor Who fan so knowing I'll get to see the Doctor and Clara - and Santa Claus! - on Boxing Day (twice even) is a tiny wee bright spot which i am very grateful for.

(Sorry for the ramble. Struggling at the moment.)
