Seroquel didn't give me nightmares, but Effexor had that effect on me. I know what you mean...the drug works, but the nightmares suck. With Seroquel, there really aren't any other drugs that work as well. If you can stick with it and see if the nightmares go away...please do. The alternative drug options are not any where near as good. For me, Effexor is an antidepressant and those are a dime a dozen. I tried another one and it worked just as fine with no funky dreaming.
