I was diagnosed with PMDD. Its really important to track your mood so you can show your healthcare professionals what is going on.

It was so severe with me getting suicidal and self harming every month the night before the bleeding started, then when it did I would be mostly fine again.

Its been a rough trot. I tried all the diet and exercise, meditation, yoga, vitamins, bach essence, crystals, pretty much anything I could afford and try, I did. When none of it worked - It was agreed between my pdoc, t/pdoc, gp and gyno that the mirena was my best option to stop the periods. I have had it 10 months now and for the first 7 it was hell, but the last few, no periods and no PMDD symptoms! I still have issues to work on but it is so much easier now I am not in crisis every month for exactly 9 days.
