This is not the first time, and it will certainly not be the last time, something like this happens.

This lady has nothing personal against you. She would do the same thing to anyone in your shoes. She probably has her own issues.

You have no control over her behavior or that of any other client that comes to you. You can only control your response to them.

I know this sounds cold, but I'm sincerely just trying to point out some of the facts that could help you feel better about this whole thing.

People will do what people want to do. When they do, just try doing the following: Put on a wide smile, say, "Have a wonderful day, ma'am". After doing this, see how they react to you. They will probably walk away feeling like a jackass for being rude to you. Meanwhile, you will calmly be going about your day. Good deal, right ?

If you let every such interaction get to you, you will go insane. That is why I pointed out that this will not be the last time this happens
