Hi there,

To me, it sounds like akathisia. The same thing happened to me when I started taking Geodon. My doctor put me on an anti-seizure med, Cogentin, and that relaxed my body and I didn't have the problem anymore. Perhaps if you talk to your pdoc, he may be able to prescribe something for you that will enable you to continue taking Lamictal since it seems to be working for you.

One difference I must note is that my symptoms started immediately when I went on Geodon, so I don't understand why it would be happening to you 2 weeks after starting Lamictal. Maybe because we all metabolize meds at different rates. I'm not sure.
