My daughter is 13. Her father died of cancer last year. he died a slow painful death. This week our dog was dx'd with cancer. They removed a tumor from hs leg but didnt get it all. So it will come back sooner or later. Imnot sure how aggressive it is. Do I tellhernow? I think it will just make her worry. Shes very sensitive. But if she finds out later on that I I didnt tellher she will feel betrayed.. She asked me directly how hisleg was and I gave her a vague answer. Its very difficult for me as it is to watch my dog die especially so soon after myhusband. But what do I do about my daughter?!
