my dear uncle George - who passed away last week

i used to call him Hippo George because he collected them......

Although I think you've gone
and I feel my heart is breaking,
I think you've left us all
in a world we see as taking.

I know we feel so cheated
from the memories we had,
but this isn't what you want
to make us all feel sad.

I believe in you
We dont have to let you go,
you live on in our hearts
so much more than we can know.

We now it's hard to understand
one day we'll know you're right,
we needn't stumble in the dark
we can always use your light.

I know that you're still with us
and that all these words are true
I can hear you say from heaven
'now I'm looking after you'.
