Hi A. it definitely could be the stressors, there are many you mentioned. A therapist could help sort these things out.
Be careful, it is good you have lost weight, but if you are not eating it creates more stress. the body turns to survival mode and you could become under weight. The brain requires protein every 24 hours or it starts to take protein by breaking down muscle.
try plain yogurt and see if you tolerate that. you have been on a fast and need to reintroduce foods selectively and carefully.
