I don't find it odd that there are various theories about illness. Western medicine is not always correct. They have a working theory right now about virus sorts of things - but that, to me, does not rule out other possibilities or types.
Of course, I see an herbalist and acupuncturist for anything that goes wrong with me that does not heal up in a week or so, so perhaps that puts it in perspective.
