I have acid reflux and an ulcerated espohagus, so heartburn and nausea area huge problem for me. I found that eating flour tortillas plain helped. Or drinking a little milk. Also, sometimes mixing a tablespoon of baking soda with a glass of water and drinking it (although some find this taste unpleasant, and it will most likely make you burp as it neutralizes the acid!!! I think it's worth it. It really does help a lot).

Avoid: citrus fruit, orange juice, chocolate (pure. some kinds of chocolate-flavored things won't bother you), fried foods, japanese tempura, red meats, and soda pop. These foods are all acidic and/or hard to digest and will make your problem worse. (I know it's a lot to avoid, though, believe me! I have a hard time avoiding all of it myself).

Hope this helps!
