I think if you make them vague they are easier to keep---so instead of I'm going on a diet and want to lose X pounds you just say I'll eat healthier. Instead of I'm joining a gym and doing 5 30 minute workouts a week then you say I'm going to exercise more----more might be once a week or once a month for that matter. I hadn't done them in a long time either, but there is this emphasis on goals in therapy so I thought I had better come up with at least one.
