i was initially dx'd did many years ago. then during a hospital stay my dx was changed to schizophrenia. i did not agree with this and refusedd to seek any treeatment after leaving the hospital. eventually i was forced to, based on how miserable my life was, and at that time i was dx'd major depressive disorder with psychosis. i was later re-evaluated by persons with more expertise in dissociative disorders, and the two of them concered on a dx of did. I believe this dx to be correct. I now work with a very experienced therapist and hope i am on the path to wellness.
i discovered pc while working third shift and always being on the computer odd hours!
