The cash register might take some getting used to, but after you get used to it it should be like second nature to you. I don't think its necessarily harder than any other job, the only thing that would get to me personally would be the standing, but again there's lots of jobs that require standing.
You'll get used to the way things are run, and it will be easier to you each day.
