Is there a way to break a paranoid schizophrenic out of his delusion that being with me will cause me to die? He refuses to communicate with me or my son and very firmly believes that if we are together we will die just like his family did....I am not doing very well trying to cope with this....a psychiatrist said that contacting him too often willtend to make that delusion more fixed but i miss him terribly and cry all the time...the missing is a lot worse now than even a month ago...
