This is the perfect thread for me, I too am starting to intensely dislike New Years. Not least because I don't get invited anywhere. Last night I was perfectly content with watching Billy Elliott Live on DVD and then Adam Lambert performing with Queen!
This was while my parents were out at friends they've know for years.
