While I enjoy Christmas and Thanksgiving, I cannot bear New Year's. It's just another reminder of how lonely and pitiful I am. I'm 32, haven't been invited to any New Year's function and get criticized for it. I don't like parties in general, which is another problem for me, since what person my age doesn't like parties? Plus everyone will be ringing it in with their dates while I'm stuck by myself watching football, the Rose Parade, and more football. Ah, just another day for pitiful old me
