How long have you been on that dose - I found I needed to give it a good 4 weeks to work.
Other options - up the dose - I take 375mg daily
add an adjunct, most likely an antipsychotic, we augmented my effexor with risperidone and it made a big difference.
change AD's - venlafaxine, may just not be the right one for you.
