Also it is possible the Lexapro could be causing sleep disturbances. It is quite common with the SSRI's. It has happened to me many times. I would wake up every two hours and have to get up for ten minutes to get back to sleep. I would dream like crazy all night. The problem was I never got enough stage 4 deep sleep and would not feel rested. I compensated for it because I was always able to take a long nap in the afternoon where I would go into a coma deep sleep and get it that way which worked. As soon as I got home from work at 4 I would eat and sleep until 7 pm. And then get up and do something and go to bed at 10 or 11. Then get up at 5 am and start all over.
