It was one of the most effective ones for me. It quit working a long time ago but I got a lot of use out of it. For me the SSNRI's work better and Fetzima is currently working very good. I am one of the lucky ones and it was never hard to get off of it for me. I stopped a number of times. I would also suggest a very very slow taper if you go off and try something else. I think you have to give one two months to give it a fair shot provided you are not having unbearable side effects.
