I don't put up decorations. I don't notice them myself and I see no point in putting things out just to have to take them down again. I have had lovers who got into it and I have gone out into the woods to chop the tree down with them and endured decorating events. One of the things that makes me most happy about not having children is that I don't have to have xmas trees.
My sibling loves decorating and putting up the tree etc. Just different personalities.
