Apparently, the state she is in asks if you have been treated for a mental illness in order to take the bar exam & be a lawyer in good standing--like you have to report if you have been convicted of a crime. It may vary state by state. She is moving to a new state & will take the bar there. I'll ask her if they ask that question.

The state I am in they even ask that question when you get your driver's license. I always answer "no" for fear that they wouldn't let me have a license.--Suzy
